  St. Mary's Cemetery, located in Lewistown, is located on Catholic Cemetery Road to the East of the old church. Located across from a field, it has a gated entrance at the top of the hill to enter the cemetery.

  St. Charles Cemetery is located just south of the city of Havana on County Road 1550 E.
  
  The land for the cemetery was sold to the Diocese of Peoria in 1881, by Adolph Krebaum and his wife. Bishop John Lancaster Spaulding consecrated the four acre cemetery on June 10, 1881. When St. Charles cemetery was purchased, Fr. Clements specified that the southern third be separated by a fence and unconsecrated. It was reserved for babies not baptized, non-practicing Catholics and the like.
  
  The cemetery has been maintained by volunteers throughout its history. A few years ago, a concerted effort was made to ensure the cemetery is maintained on a regular basis. Burials in recent years were overseen by the St. Frederick's cemetery board until the St. Charles cemetery board was formed in 2016.
  
  Mason County Genealogical & Historical Society walked the cemetery in the 1980's to create an alphabetical list of identifiable burials. The oldest burial listed is from January 1865, before the land was purchased by the diocese. Much speculation has surrounded the lone remaining tombstone of John Tully in the unconcecrated section. The coroner’s report of 1893, attributed this 36-year-old fisherman’s death to “heart failure due to drunk whiskey.” May he rest in peace.

  St. Frederick's Cemetery, located at Madison & State Streets in Manito, originated on October 22, 1879. The cemetery has been maintained by members of the parish on a volunteer basis. In 2003, a cemetery board was appointed to improve the cemetery. There have been many improvements, listed below, and we hope to continue. There are plans to add statues and other Catholic symbols of faith.
  Recent Improvements: Annual clean-ups, computer database of records, and a public survey map are available. We began issuing easements and initiated the selling of monuments with proceeds going to the cemetery.
  2003 - resurveyed the cemetery
  2004 - new road was added, donated flag poles erected
  2005 - new sign and gate at the main entrance
  2006 - matching sign and gate at the second entrance, 14 new trees
  2009 - installed an altar

  Veteran’s Markers
  All Veteran's Markers are to be shipped to Manito Oil. Cemetery officials will install markers. Please submit a copy of the dd214 with the marker application. John Parkin at Manito Oil will sign all applications.

  St. Mary's Cemetery is located on Springfield Road just north of the intersection with Illinois Route 122, Delavan (view map here). It is operated by St. Mary's Catholic Church. Cemetery plot sales and all business activities are handled through the Parish Office at 505 E. 4th St. in Delavan, 309-244-8516.
  
  We encourage interested parties to purchase grave sites in advance in order to relieve pressures on the family at the time of death. Contact Steve Zahner, 309-678-8381.

  CEMETERY CLEANUP
  Each year, 2 weeks prior to Palm Sunday, the cemetery is cleared of all flowers, wreaths, grave blankets, and other decorations. This cleanup is ongoing during mowing season. See Cemetery Rules & Regulations.
